Alannagh is a senior Assistant Forensic Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with Imagine Health, and has been working with the team since 2016.
Alannagh graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Applied Psychology to IT from The Institute of Art, Design and Technology(IADT) in 2013. Alannagh continued her education at London Metropolitan University, in which she graduated with an MSc in Forensic Psychology in 2015. She recently graduated from Trinity College of Dublin with a Post-graduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and holds full accreditation from the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). In the past Alannagh has worked as a social care worker and volunteered as a mentor for ex-offenders.
Alannagh’s aim is to create a non judgmental, safe therapeutic space that helps encourage self-awareness and personal growth. She is passionate about her client’s needs and uses skills of CBT and integrates a range of different theories, approaches and techniques. Alannagh has worked with clients with various presentations for example anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, interpersonal and relationship issues, among others.
