How do I find the right therapist for me?

Your first session gives you a chance to meet the therapist and get to know if they are the best fit for you. All of our therapists are willing to meet with you for a general consulting session. This session not only allows you to determine if the therapist is the best fit for you but it also allows the therapist to decide if they are the best fit from our team.

It is normal to feel a little nervous and often a little uncomfortable; sharing personal information can be difficult. However, listen to your feelings, do you feel you can work with this person? You can even express how you are feeling and talk about that too.

The first few sessions will be different from future sessions. After this, they will be more therapeutic. Your first session is for you and your therapist to get to know each other. You will get a sense of whether or not you wish to proceed and, whether or not your therapist feels they can work with you.

How do I book?

Your therapist might suggest a treatment plan and you can reach out to us at this email to also rebook sessions.

How do I pay?

What happens for in-person sessions at the Imagine Health office?

In our offices on 36 Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2, we are a shared office building.

Upon your arrival, you will get buzzed into the building and general reception will be to your right.

Our therapy rooms are based on the 4th floor. The lift is just after the door from the general reception on the left, to which you will have access.

Where do I wait?

There is a waiting area on the 4th floor where your therapist will come to meet you once they are ready to begin your session. Therapists may have sessions prior to you, they may not be ready in advance of your allocated time.
